Egypt Makes Electronics is a presidential initiative aimed at positioning the electronics industry as one of the key props for growth in the Egyptian economy. With a dual focus on high-value design and production of electronic circuits and systems, alongside labor-intensive electronics manufacturing, EME drives innovation and industrial development. The EME Innovation Hubs, managed by Ideaspace in Borg El Arab and Assiut, offer state-of-the-art labs, coworking spaces, and resources for engineers, researchers, and entrepreneurs. These hubs guide startups, foster collaboration, and serve as a platform for learning, networking, and contributing to Egypt’s national development.

Latest Activities

"Ready For Tomorrow" Incubation Program

In partnership with Entlaq and Plan International Egypt, the "Ready for Tomorrow" incubation program empowered youth to transform their ideas into impactful startups, addressing Asyut's most pressing challenges. Participants benefited from intensive training, mentorship, and access to state-of-the-art facilities. We trained and mentored over 370 innovators, and awarded funding prizes of up to 350,000 EGP to 12 exceptional projects in key sectors such as agriculture, energy, transportation, recycling, education, and healthcare.

Graduate Empowerment Program for Digital Jobs in Assiut

In collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Assiut Oil Refining Company, this program is designed to equip graduates with the essential digital skills needed to thrive in today's competitive job market. By bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry demands, the initiative aims to empower young professionals and enhance their career prospects. The intensive 2-month program offers hands-on training across 12 tracks in high-demand fields, including Technology, Web Development, Creative Design, Digital Marketing, Data Science, and Machine Learning.

Fanni Mobtaker 4th Edition: Final Ceremony & Awards

The 4th Edition of Fanni Mobtaker experienced an exceptional wave of innovation, with over 14,000 student participants from 24 governorates. We fueled the entrepreneurial spirit of thousands of young minds through dynamic training and guidance programs, including Ideation Camps, Mentorship Sessions, and Fabrication Camps, all designed to inspire and equip the next generation of innovators. The program’s impact was remarkable, with more than 6,000 project ideas generated and 9 innovative teams awarded up to 3 Million EGP. These winning teams also received invaluable support from industry experts, setting them on a path toward success and further strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
